The other day my wife and I decided that we might run over to Niagara Falls for a weekend before I get busy with weddings and high school seniors every weekend. Well as we all know in the world we live in today to just cross the border in to Canada we now must have a United States passport. Well, we found My wifes right away, it was in the place it should have been, but mine was missing… You know in the old days it was no big del to get your passport, it did not take very long and the cost was not bad. Today it takes more time and the cost or fees are much greater, I sure did not want to have to order a new one seeing the one I have is only a year old. Well long story getting longer, after I went through every travel bag we own and sorted several storage areas in my home that I messed up looking for it.. I found my passport in my overnight shaving bag.. duh how I put it their last time we traveled I will never know..

The Point – If you don’t have a current passport you should. You can pick up an application at the Medina County Clerks Office, second floor of the courthouse. You will need a passport photo, Contemporary Photography Studio can provide this service for only $10.65 including tax.. just call to set up a time at 330-591-4243. If you are in need of a foreign to the United States passport photo or Green Card Photo such as Canadian or British passport, we can help. Most foreign countries have different photo requirements, the big box stores do not have the ability to take care of these special sizes and quantities of images. Remember your passport photo is an ID Photo, not a glamershot, they want to see you straight on with a clean background and the proper head size. Don’t waist your time and money taking the chance your photograph will be rejected.. Call CPS, we’ll get it right the first time.

Well it is finally here! Spring has reached Medina, Ohio. It is so nice to see the trees starting to bud and new life in the air.. It has been a while since I have posted many things, with all the new in the air I plan to get back online here and renew my blog about the clients of Contemporary Photography and events coming to Medina County.

Below is a photograph I created for the Greater Medina Chamber of Commerce of the old court house on the square .. The Chamber is planing for the its upcoming 75 anniversary this year.

Hello Everyone! So it has been some time since I posted anything new on my blog. You know they say it take like 20 days to form a habbit but only 2 day to break it.. Not sure what happened that I stopped posting but I’m back! Today Stopped in at the AI Root company in Medina, Ohio to pick up a few new candles for the office and was thrilled to find a huge sale is goin on right now. They have hundred of product and really huge deals right now. (March 2nd) I thought I would restart my posting by sharing this really big event with you, Our town is really blessed to have the Root company here and to have such a great deal goin on I would hate for you to miss out. It’s kind a cool I think, the best part is many of these are created in flash. That would mean it would not work on your phone or iPAD. But this is not therefore it should work great on all media. We are also working on a downloadable PDF so that you can print it out at home and view.

John and Brin 9-8-12

The wedding party of John and Brin and the Meidna County Parks Buffalo Creek Retreat Center in Seville, Ohio

We had the honor to photograph John and Brin this past weekend. It was kind of by luck I had the weekend open when they called. Brin contacted our studio about a month ago in hopes I had the day open, we did because I had planned to go out of town with my family but our plans had been changed. It appears that the photographer Brin had hired MOVED OUT OF STATE in July leaving her high and dry for her September wedding.

It was a fun day, nice couple and great wedding party! I’m happy we could help her out on her special day.

Where does the time go?

Can you beleave it is after labor day already? I totally seemed to miss August I think.

Well first I would like to thank all the great folks that stopped by and said hello at the Medina County Fair this year. This year completed Contemporary Photography Studio’s 41 year with a merchants booth at the county fair. I recall as a young child helping (or getting in the way) as my Dad and his staff would set up the booth. We have had booths under the old wooden grandstand, then in a tent, then the community building, and out in the youth barn that is now the music pavilion. For the past several years we have had center aisle of the community building and I really like it because I get to see and visit with so many people at that location. Again it was great to see you all and I enjoyed getting caught up with all my old friends too.

It’s almost time for the Medina County Fair!

In just a little over a week on July 30, the Medina County Fair will open the gates to fun in the sun for yet another year. Make sure you stop in the community center building or “Merchant Hall” by the south enterance and say hi to us. I just paid for our booth today. This will be the 41st Medina Fair for Contemporary Photography Studio, we might just be one of the oldest buinesses that set up every year.
